Welcome to Artifluous; a home for all things creative. The word is fictional, and is a combination of ‘art’ and the suffix -fluous. Fluous, as a stand-alone word, means the required amount of work, so the name can mean ‘the required amount of art’. As a suffix, -fluous is often used to mean a flow of something, in this case a flow of art. Both these definitions are apt. This website will become a conglomeration of things, including, but not limited to, prose, stories, script, blogs, creative technology, reviews and video. So far I’ve posted some reviews of exhibitions I’ve been to in Manchester, my experiences as part of the Raspberry Pi Creative Technologists (2015-16) and some of my own works, including games and stories.
My latest project is a text adventure game called Thalia’s Quest, which was made in Twine and can be played here. There is also a black and white version, for those who desire it, here. If you do check it out, please tweet me your thoughts.
